Punjab Aghosh Program 2025: Full Overview

Aim: To support maternal and child health in 13 underdeveloped districts through financial assistance and healthcare access.

Objectives

  • Provide financial support to pregnant and lactating women.
  • Encourage safe, hospital-based deliveries.
  • Promote regular maternal check-ups and postnatal care.
  • Support child immunization and health monitoring.
  • Raise awareness on nutrition, hygiene, and family planning.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet all of the following:

  • Target Group: Pregnant women, lactating mothers, or mothers of children under 2 years.
  • Location: Must reside in one of these 13 districts:
    • Bahawalpur, Muzaffargarh, Kot Addu, Bhakkar, D.G. Khan, Mianwali, Rahim Yar Khan, Rajanpur, Khushab, Layyah, Bahawalnagar, Lodhran, Taunsa Sharif
  • Documents Required:
    • Valid CNIC
    • Proof of pregnancy or lactation
    • Child’s birth certificate (if applicable)

How to Register

  1. Visit Health Facility: Go to BHU, RHC, THQ, or DHQ in your district.
  2. Meet Health Worker: Approach an LHV or certified provider.
  3. Submit Documents: CNIC, proof of residence, medical records.
  4. Electronic Registration: Health staff will register you in the EMR system.
  5. Confirmation: Receive updates via SMS or health staff.
